Juliet Osborne
Juliet was introduced to Mondo by a mutual friend who knew of her long standing commitment to supporting local communities in South Asia. Her interest in this region started when she volunteered for the Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed in Bangladesh in her gap year. After graduating from Cambridge University, Juliet worked for a number of charities working in South Asia including Amnesty International and Womankind Worldwide. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, Juliet spent two years working for the United Nations in New York and their missions/offices on the financial management of their development programmes.
Juliet then had a 19 year career in management consultancy, including with KPMG, where she led programme delivery for clients in the policing, security and justice sector. Six of those years were spent working with overseas governments (including in India, Pakistan and Bhutan) on financial management and good governance programmes funded by the UK Department for International Development and the World Bank.
Since 2018, Juliet has been teaching Business and Accounting at a secondary school in High Wycombe.
