Anthony Lunch (CEO) & Andrew Allright (Trustee), spent a hectic week visiting our Grants and Loans project in Arusha and Moshi. The visit was as inspiring as ever, with many recipients developing strongly and some interesting new businesses starting off. But, inevitably given the hard realities of life for these women, a few sad losses of much loved partners. Recipients start with a grant up to £100, and some take a loan of £200 repayable over 10 months. They can take a second loan of up to £300 to expand their businesses. The pictures show ten of the 650+ recipients. Also shown are pictures taken at Longido Primary School, blind unit, which is supported by the Foundation.
